 About Nepal
Nepal is a small, mountainous, landlocked country surrounded by India and China. The elevation of the country ranges from 60m above sea level to the highest point on earth, Mt Everest at 8848m, all within a distance of 150 km. with climatic conditions ranging from sub tropical to arctic. The wild variation forests an incredible variety of ecosystems, the greatest mountain range on earth, thick tropical jungle teeming with a wealth of wildlife, thundering rivers, forested hills and frozen valleys. The country is famous for 70 ethnic languages. Nepal cover an area of 147.181sq km on earth& the total population is 25 millions Nepal is a sovereign independent kingdom. The length of the kingdom is 885km. east west and its breadth varies from 145 -241 km.

The country is can be divided into three main geographical regions.

Himalayan region -The altitude ranges between 4877- 8848m, 14%
Mountain regions - up to 4877m. 69 %
Terai region - The low land terai occupies about 17 % of the total land.

Kathmandu Valley:

The valley (The Capital of Nepal) is situated at an altitude of 1336m above the sea level and covers an area of 218 sq miles .The rich tapestry of the cultural heritage of Nepal is synthesized in the Kathmandu Valley, The home of the ancient Newari culture. The skillfully built temples and palaces, delicately carved stones and wooden columns are really a unique.

The tour covers Kathmandu Valley sightseeing including Pashupati – Nath, Shayambhu Nath, Boudha- Nath, historical palace of Hanuman-Dhoka and Patan Durbar Square. UNESCO lists this place in the world heritage site.
